The Regional Extension Center plays an essential role in helping thousands of providers benefit from a central source of information regarding achieving Meaningful Use of Health Information Technology. The challenge is how to get so many providers adopting HIT and meeting the criteria within the deadlines to receive the HITECH incentive funding. Many RECs have established partnerships with EMR companies and ancillary service providers to meet the demand of communication and actual implementation of the CORE criteria for Meaningful Use.
US Healthcare Compliance has partnered with a number of RECs around the country to provide the service of conducting a Security Risk Analysis. We have developed a programatic approach to working with RECS to maximize communications of the availability of the service. We have also developed a scalable engagement process to manage a large flow of Risk Assessments to meet the demand. US Healthcare Compliance works on a national basis and can manage Risk Assessments on-site or remote. For the well-informed provider, we have a HIPAA Security software package that can help the provider develop and manage their own HIPAA Security Policies and Procedures.
